Continuous Elevator

A partially assembled Lego Technic frame structure in black and green, designed for a mechanical or robotic project.

Inspired by Madtown 1323, Team Bio Hazard is working together to design a continuous elevator system powered by two Kraken motors and a belt-driven mechanism. The elevator is built to extend from one to three stages while maintaining a lightweight structure—an efficient and competitive solution for FRC.

MELTDOWN

Created by our veteran member, Meltdown, this robot features a continuous elevator that allows it to reach levels 1–4 of the Coral Station in FRC. In addition to its scoring ability, Meltdown is also capable of effectively manipulating algae, making it a versatile and competitive machine on the field.

While our robot is not yet complete, we believe that teaching and learning are the most important parts of STEM. This robot is a work in progress, serving as a platform for new members to practice CAD and improve their skills before the on-season. We encourage students to absorb 3D modeling knowledge, not with the goal of being perfect, but with the mindset that growth comes from constant improvement. Instead of striving only to be the best, we focus on getting better every day.
