The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a mentor-guided program that empowers high school students to become innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders through hands-on experiences in engineering and technology. In just a few short weeks, teams work together to design, build, and program robots that take on exciting annual challenges, fostering not only technical skills but also creativity, teamwork, and resilience. Founded by inventor Dean Kamen, FRC is part of his larger vision “to transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders."
